Cedars Parents Committee
PARENTS COMMITTEE
Cedars School prides itself on educating ‘the whole child’, and that includes creating a sense of community and emphasizing the importance of family. One method we use to ensure the success of this objective is allowing for an active community of parents to partake in the important events and decisions of the school.
This essential group in our school community is made up of a diverse group of parents who support the school and work towards advancing the mission and vision of Cedars. These parents work with the administration, faculty, and staff to ensure that all students are in a positive, creative, nurturing and safe environment. All parents of enrolled students are welcome to apply to the committee or volunteer to support one of the committee’s activities, events, or fundraisers.
The parent's committee is considered as a liaison between the Cedars' administration and all other parents. Regular meetings are held between the school's representatives and the parent's committee members, where they discuss and address important topics and issues to ensure a healthy and positive learning environment for our students.
